What do you think our most important resource or commodity is? My answer without any hesitation or reservation would be time. This article offers you five reasons to support my viewpoint:
Reason 1: Lost time can never be found
Time lost is quite simply gone forever. We are unable to rewind the clock to relive moments and experiences, delete events that we would like to change or invest in that opportunity we once had. Once time has passed, it has passed forever.
Reason 2: We cannot save time
Unfortunately, we cannot save 10% of our day every day, and have a bank account of time in the future. Each person must use the minutes and hours to their greatest extent possible every day.
Reason 3: We cannot buy time
Sadly, we cannot buy time. We can use our time more effectively, and can consequently increase our productive hours, but we cannot add more to the allotted 24 hours or 1440 minutes each day.
Reason 4: Timing is everything
There is always a best time to do something, launch something, say something, finish something, invest in something. Getting the timing wrong means we invest at the wrong price, launch at the wrong time, say something inappropriate in that moment, or finish something prematurely or post deadline.
Reason 5: You never know when your time is up
Unfortunately, none of us know how much time we have left. Our lives could come to an abrupt end now, in eighty years, or anywhere in between.
Given that time is an extremely precious resource, it is curious to observe that many of us use it unproductively. Instead of pursing the things we truly desire with a laser-point focus, we scatter ourselves by doing a hundred things of lesser importance. The result is that our lives never truly reach the magnificence of which we are capable.
Mega-Productivity challenges the old and unproductive habits we have. It offers a six-step system which gives birth to an action-oriented mindset. This results in highly focused activity, delivering results that incrementally move you closer towards your life and business goals. If you would like to find out how we can help you, contact us here.
